First Blog.

My literature life is very simple. I enjoy reading but I do not make as much time for it anymore. I tend to read books that talk about a person's life story or their experiences that I can relate to. This summer I began reading "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert and I got really hooked on it. It inspires me to travel somewhere around the world and to try something new, something out of the ordinary. I do enjoy reading MSN news online because they have a variety of short informative stories. On the other hand, writing is not one of my forts. I have never been one to keep a blog, journal, or diary, but I do like writing letters to my family every now and then. The way I communicate the most is through texting, social media sites, and email.

I think that the article sent out a positive connotation to the audience. Lunsford wrote as if she understood our generations current life style.  Some people believe that too much technology is actually harming us and that we are helpless.  Lunsford believes that this "digital revolution" is actually beneficial to us because as future educators we need to learn to adapt to change.  Technology is always changing and this is only the beginning. Maybe things are not the way they used to be before, but we are gaining greater knowledge on different mechanisms.

  1. I was only able to get through "Eat" and "Pray" of that book, but it was great!
